From what I can tell, he likes drawing them because they’re easy and people like what he currently does (gets commissions sold) but has no clue about anything of the show
Also, most of these mlp draws he’s doing are due to either commissions or BronyCon print selling (he lives practically nearby so no risk for profit :v)
Go look at his tumblr blogs and see for yourself that he clearly was lying or had a change of heart during those last 3-4 years.

I’ve been in this fandom almost 5 1/2 years now.
I remember him saying he wouldn’t be drawing pony stuff anymore like 3-4 years ago.
Slugs has been doing pony pics since the G4 show came around. He just does not watch anything past season 2.
