“There and Back Again” was the in-world name for The Hobbit (It was Tolkein’s conceit that Bilbo Baggins wrote the story).

So, I’m guessing the season finale will have the Mane Six go on an epic journey across Equestria to recover some fabulous treasure that had been lost/stolen for ages.
