Actually, I already consider AJ and Rarity to be the unofficial adoptive moms of Applebloom and Sweetiebelle respectively. Seems both of them not only take on a guidance role, but a caretaking role too. Mostly, we hardly see Rarity/SB's parents, and of course there's no parents for the Apple's.
