The thing about Trixie never having love or having a friend, is that she sees herself as superior to all, and travels so often that she never stays anywhere so no pony ever gets to really talk with her. Now this wouldn't be a bad thing, if we had a backstory that explained it. Without a backstory, it comes across as messy writing for her character. I hope we get another episode with her sometime this season, but it will likely be next season... a shame, since seeing her truly change is something we don't get nearly enough of; Trixie's been one of the few characters who's been the most considerably grounded to reality with her attitude; really hard to break her habits, which I like, as well as relate-able actions, like saying that her saying she "won" was just her getting caught up in the moment; her ego is all she has, and for a moment, that one thing that ate away at it, was gone; she "won" over Twilight with Starlight's friendship, and saying something dumb when you get something you never got and always wanted? That's relate-able... if only she didn't get snarky so often in the episode; her entire reveal in the castle was cringy.[/spoiler]||
