here we go 50 comments let us see all the angry dislestia shippers. yeah heres the thing you could argue because shes his best friend yeah first off I myself HAVE a best friend and shes like my biggest friend ever iv known her for 3 years if not more and shes like a sister to me our friensship is deep BUT does that mean i’d ignore all my other friends for just her? no. id be mad if somebody did that to them all because i have good friends and so does he. why did he not get mad over them why JUST fluttershy because he has MULTIPLES of series of build up with the others as well. why is it always JUST her. that seems very crushy like to me.

Not that anyone’s arguing this point now or whatever, but I’d like to point out in the second half, he specifically says “…and my pony friends” when talking about others besides Fluttershy. So yes, he does care for them and considers them friends, if not to the same extent as Fluttershy.

He’s not a God. He’s a Spirit of Chaos. His species even has a name. He has been defeated or neutralized many times in the series.

It doesn’t matter, Fluttershy’s blush at the end confirms it more than mere specualtions

Yeah, Twilight badly assumed that of Discord, but he IS the god of Chaos and did at one point mind control the mane six. Regardless, he still DID genuinely enjoy his time with them, nailing Twilight with a lesson was just a bonus.

Yeah…as much as I agree with your comment post, however that’s not going to stop the Fluttercord’s assumption just like Dislestia’s assumption when Discord gave Celestia flowers as an apology.

Agreed, but with the caveat that if this show were aimed at an older audience, romance likely would have gotten involved eventually.
