If they don’t put him back and do his redemption, then that’s a the end for me. I will end with MLP stuffs.
Don’t know why did I even watch the 1st episode… It was boring and I can’t enjoy something without my favorite character…
The game is the only great thing from G5 so far

Well, as far as a redemption arc goes, I don’t have any specifics in mind, but it would be good to have an episode or two where Sprout has to re-evaluate his life choices and honestly work to better himself. He can (and should) make mistakes occasionally, but but he should actually try.
Maybe have him eventually confront his mother on how her way of bringing him up had made him such a mess that he was driven to choices that only made things worse for him and others, and now now that he has rethought his life, even though he still loves her, he realizes that he needs to break away and be his own pony. This can also be a chance to give Phyllis a bit of a redemption arc of her own.
And having this happen during a longer arc would also give Sprout an opportunity to contribute to the larger arc. Not to be the solution, but to contribute in a meaningful way towards a solution would make his redemption more vindicated.
At least, it would be better than just ”I’m sorry. I’m scared of change,“ followed by “Change means new opportunities,” followed by Sprout saying ”Oh, I guess I was being overdramatic” and then Pipp being like, ”Let’s cheer you up by dancing through the end credits.“

Using Spoilers for an ACTUAL Spoiler rather than a censor. A Maretime Bay Adventure does suggest that as a possibility. In a rather rushed manner, but it’s at least implied to be a posssibility. So I’m gonna be optimistic about that possibility and hope he gets a good redemption arc.

Yeah. There is so much more stories to see. They just have to. Also between him, Sunny and Hitch.
