Is there a name for these kind of images where the caption is above the picture it describes?
 
Slapping text on an image makes it an image macro, even if the text isn’t directly on the image. No special magic here.

Not a Llama - Happy April Fools Day!
Friendship, Art, and Magic (2017) - Celebrated Derpibooru's five year anniversary with friends.

Back when I had more friends, and more money, I believed in giving until it hurts. Nowadays, I tell people not to get me anything (and actually really mean it) since everyone I know is broke, and I don’t wanna stress them out.

I know this feeling. Despite the fact I am the biggest scrooge and currently trying to get away with just getting my sister a manual can opener for Christmas, since they need a can opener. I even spent over 100 on /mlp/‘s secret Santa and 60 bucks on an internet friend.  
Admittedly, I only did that so he’d be obligated to get me something too.
