The nature of politics and political discourse has always been (and should always be) a serious matter of great importance, seeing as how much influence it has over our daily lives and the lives of all future generations. That said, I can’t help but wish, just for a moment, that the next political story in the news would be a real life version of this moment. The world could use a moment where actual politicians set aside whatever rhetoric they’re currently shouting at anyone nearby to go out and party at a children’s cartoon themed rave.
