It’s more like the creator of the previous mime satyr got mad or something about how she wasn’t being portrayed as a psychopath or something (I don’t know, it apparently has something to do with A Clockwork Orange & maybe also something to do with them not liking the canon mime’s color scheme when applied to said satyr). & apparently the old one’s not supposed to be the canon mime pony’s child?
 
Only one satyr was involved in this confusing mess.
 
So it seems Marcel was created to keep a cute mime satyr without the confused violent baggage the previous one has now.
