Though given that Equestria has a fair number of magical potions, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a tea that changed a pony’s sexuality.

V Sounds kind of like The Help. Then again, I didn’t see that movie, either.
 
I still like Twilight Sparkle’s reaction to that certain turn from sexuality to tea.

The movie is The Help, and the mother is a southern mom asking her graduated daugher if she didn´t “experimented” with her fellow classmates. Of course, it has to be the 60´s to assume that lesbianism can be cured with medicine.
