This is the hd version
But there were rapidly changing images… video compression don’t like those because it has to write a bunch of new data… therefore it is jpeged
If it was just a moving picture then video compression works well because it can use motion estimation to cut down on a bunch of data… but images that change COMPLETELY rapidly it does not like…
Why even bother when you can go just to the video link on Youtube, change to HD in settings, go frame by frame with “<” and “>” buttons, find what frame you want , click “print screen” button, cut out what you don’t like on image editor, save as whatever type of image you want and upload it on Derpibooru.

Eesh. And nobody’s improved on YouTube’s design yet?
Don’t bother.. it won’t be any better
Unless you have the original file that the person uploaded then there’s no way to get a less jpeged version… It’s due to the max bitrate cap that YouTube set and it doesn’t like rapidly changing images because then the video compression doesn’t work as effiently and blah blah blah
I’m well aware what they meant by “Google is your friend.” But at first, I genuinely thought they meant that YouTube was allowing for downloading.
@Rainboom Dash
Yeah, it’s /very/ jpeg. Best I could have done with what I had. x.x;
I’ll try downloading it and trying to get a crisper version unless someone beats me to it.
Google doesn’t bite. You need to learn how to research on your own instead of asking others and hoping they will find answer for you.
Oh I see why it’s so jpeged… there was rapidly changing images in the video
sigh Dang Youtube compression…

Yeah, that tells me… very little. Do I go find a program? Do I use Google to download from YouTube? Do I find the video cloned on Google and download it there?
…Yes, I’m being a little trolly. ;P
google is your friend
…YouTube lets you download videos?
