Actually, Derpy started at the top and then went down. Lightening Dust was simply happy that she got second place, doing so well, with the implication I think that for that it was their first race together for many.
Soarin’ too.
Listening Dust has been on wall posters in the Wonderbolts Academy locker room near the entryway. Both this season and the last one.
I actually have this as a consideration. Rainbow Dash stated quite clearly that she was put into a higher level competition group, so for the rest of flight school and everything she probably had classes with pegasi of her own age.
Meaning they only ever really interated during competition, not really having a chance to get to know each other because they were part of different age groups.
Babs had a cameo on a framed picture in Forever Filly, funnily enough…

Huh, I checked and it’s actually using the best approach to optimize (combine frames), so I guess its from the noise of the broadcast version. the Itunes release when it happens will make a cleaner one
