Now that I think about, I think Sombra would want to use the Heart of Atlantis as a weapon, like how Kida’s father used it as a weapon in the past. He’s not a mercenary like Rourke. Selling an object of great power would be the last thing he’d plan to do. In fact, I think he’d find Rourke’s plans for it pathetic.
“An artifact of untold power, and you are going to sell it like some trinket? You mercenaries have such a limited imagination.”
No, but now that you mention it, it’s pretty similar. Except one of them is an evil king, and the other’s a greedy mercenary who doesn’t care if an entire civilization does so long as he gets his money.
No, I didn’t think of it when I first saw it. But I hadn’t thought of the Atlantis movies for years before I had even seen MLP: FIM; or, at least not that I’m recalling.
Nice to see Atlantis getting some love here :). I agree, it’s a good show. Wish they’d’ve been able to keep the submarine for more than like 4 minutes though, hehe.
Gotta say, I love this movie. Even to this day, I could still watch it over and over. I know that it wasn’t perfect, but it’s really one of my favorites. :)

@BarryFromMars
Does that mean you’re a civilization?
Thank you.

HOW COULD I NOT HAVE NOTICED THIS?
MY LIFE HAS BEEN MADE.
Atlantis: The Lost Empire is one of my favorite Disney Movies of all time, if not my absolute favorite.
(Now all we need an Atlantis crossover with the Crystal Empire as Atlantis and Sombra as Rourke, and we’re all set.)
Oi! I was gonna say that!
IDK. I’ve never seen him.
I don’t know much about him, I think he did those pointy ponies of you guys right before ponibooru went down.
Agreed. They need more love.
This movie is one of my favorite and inspirational animations.
@Pomf: I hear ya. I enjoyed it too, despite its flaws.
