A full mock-up of one of the cards I made for “Daring Done?”, with the murals painstakingly restored by Phil Srobeign.
For those who didn’t play during Born of the Gods, tribute X means “As this creature enters the battlefield, an opponent of your choice may put X +1/+1 counters on it.” Treasure tokens will be appearing in the upcoming Ixalan.

I admit, several of the cards I’ve been making lately are unashamed Revel in Riches enablers. I’m a sucker for alternate win conditions.
And that ambiguity in Pursuit of the Sphinx bothered me throughout the entire design process, but I wanted to keep the parallel structure with the other side of the card. I tried to use the flavor text to clarify matters.
On the other cards:
Somnambula Supplicant: Well that’s disturbing on several levels.
Somnambula, Ever Hopeful: Not sure if this one is a full-blown gamebreaker or just borderline.
Pursuit of the Sphinx/Pyramid of the Sphinx: Maybe it’s just me, but the name of the front face makes it sound like the sphinx is the one doing the pursuing.

For all the tendency towards Red pegasi have, ponies in general have a tendency towards White, which is a flying color.
To be fair, blue does love both +1/+1 counters and copious artifacts. But yeah, this one’s pretty iffy.
And flying is a ho. Especially in a setting where there are so many clearly red-aligned pegasi.
Sphinxes are blue.

And I know it’s not yours, but I like what they’re doing with the Treasure subtype. Hopefully it’s not limited to this block; there’s a fair amount of mechanical space for them to explore.

I also made a token that was a copy of the Flyder Swarm. In fact, I make a lot of images of Fan’s work that I don’t post in the end. Just compare the total number of cards in the FOME set according to the collector’s number each week and you’ll occasionally see an uptick greater than one.
Doesn’t that describe all the invocations?
