If we’re talking about the human thing in general, it’s hard to have much more complex characterization than that in a comic.
 
As for the episode-specific Pinkie hands joke… I think we’ve seen every Lyra-gets-jealous picture possible with that. I knew they’d be coming when I saw the episode, and sure enough we’ve got like twenty already.

This Lyra hands/human obsession has been old and unfunny for god knows how long. I hate it when I see a new comic and it’s another stupid Lyra hands joke.

I am going to have to disagree with you on that (the part where Lyra’s only character is to be human obsessed, that is).
 
There’s more to Lyra’s character than merely being obsessed with humans (even if there isn’t much).
 
There’s her relationship with BonBon (portrayed as lesbians in fanon and friends in canon), her excitable nature, with her jumping around, trying to mug the camera for all its worth, and her being a musician (if her lyre cutie mark is anything to believe).

I dunno, Metal, people still liked her a lot before the human fetish thing started.
