Regal is basically a Jerk version of his dad.He loves flying and wants to join the wonderbolts. They are reluctant to accept him however because of his royal status and the fact that the wonderbolts never had an alicorn member before.
 
He got his Cutiemark by using his horn and not his wings . He’s a talented writer even though he doesn’t want to admit it. He writes action and adventure stories about a unicorn with artificial metal wings. Regal uses the name Featherflight as his name on the books.Nopony knows his secret except his family and the publishing company he works with.
