-The youngest child of two, Summer had a close relationship with her loving older brother Skychaser when the two were kids. She enjoyed the times when she could watch him practice flying with their mother, something she greatly admired him for. But one day, Sky stopped practicing, and gradually Sky became more and more distant from her and the rest of the family until he seemingly began to avoid her. Lightning claimed that Skychaser had entered a rebellious phase and didn’t want anything to do with any of them, something that hurt Summer deeply but led her to become closer to her mother, who finally focused more of her attention on her.
 
-It wasn’t long before Lightning Dust began coaching Summer instead, giving Summer the idea of one day becoming a Wonderbolt. Despite the training eventually becoming rigorous, Lightning made sure to offer loads of sweet praises after each session and would reward Summer for her hard work, something Summer loved her mother for but noticed her brother grow tense over. Again, Lightning claimed her brother was simply jealous and never missed a chance to dismiss him and keep Summer close to her.
 
~~Eventually, Skychaser was kicked out by their parents due to his misbehavior and the constant fights he brought in the household. Although her brother’s disownment saddened her ~~ and hurt her over the loss of the siblingship that could’ve been - she forced herself to remember Sky didn’t want anything to do with her and proceeded to force memories of him to the side.
 
-With her family’s hopes all on her, Summer took those expectations close to heart and grew to expect a lot out of herself. She saw shortcomings as huge failures and would chastise herself heavily for small, “unnecessary” mistakes. At the very least, Lightning’s insistence that Summer was made for flying made her refuse to ever give up.
 
-In her adult years, after a long process (and possibly after taking up an internship to help her gain real life flying experience alongside personal growth), Summer was able to fulfil her dream and was given a place in the Wonderbolts. That day had to be the happiest she had ever seen her mother. She has since then formed her own fan base.
 
-Outside of her serious, focused demeanor when she is flying, Summer is calm, collected, and supportive in nature. She is rather humble, most likely due to empathizing with the dreams and struggles of her peers. That and her mother has a habit of bragging to others every chance she gets. Summer does recognize there is something off in how Lightning Dust treats her when it comes to her status, but chooses not to think about it.
 
-From time to time Summer thinks of her brother and wonders what could have happened to him, but due to that leading to sadder memories and wishful thinking, Summer stops herself.
 
-Outside of long flight patterns, Summer’s movements when flying can at times resemble that of a hummingbird. When she first joined the Wonderbolts and was getting used to the movements and speeds of the team, Summer would use bursts of speed to flick forward and catch up with everyone else. This earned her the nickname “Flicky”.
