I could see an Outback working too. Initially I was thinking of some old Wagon (1990-1991 Ford LTD? It has an air bag at least) but maybe not; its ground clearance is probably lower than the Outback.


 
I was thinking maybe a 90s Suburban Turbo Diesel could work too (Biodiesel or Waste Vegetable Oil fuel capability, for one reason) but maybe not; my 99 needed many repairs from day 1 and I'm still not done nearly 3 years later.
