Personality/Background:  
Swiftwing is the only child of Soarin and Spitfire. He was not a planned pregnancy. Soarin and Spitfire had been messing around for a while, and Spitfire was shocked to discover that she was pregnant. Soarin, trying to make an honest mare out of her, proposed. Spitfire, however, declined his proposal, stating that they didn’t need marriage to have a foal. They decided to remain as boyfriend and girlfriend instead and are still happily dating.
 
Swifty is a very humble and gentle stallion. Despite his talent for flying, he never tries to show off and is always striving to be better. Swiftwing’s Wonderbolt wing partner is Lightning Spark, who is the opposite him. Their personalities do work well together, as Lightning pushes Swiftwing to take more risks and Swifty pulls Lightning Spark back when he’s being too wild.
 
Swiftwing has a rather strange hobby: pottery. Making vases and pots is quite soothing for him. However, he isn’t really the best at it. In fact, he’s horrible. Swifty just can’t handle the clay well. His creations are always lumpy and misshapen. Spitfire just smiles awkwardly when presented with a homemade vase and hesitantly places it on the fireplace.
 

 
Relationships:  
Swiftwing has a great relationship with both of his parents. However, he gets along better with his father, who is more relaxed than his mother. Since they are all in the Wonderbolts, they spend a lot of time together. Swifty trains with his parents constantly. Many would get tired of seeing their parents 24/7 but not Swiftwing. He loves hanging out with them and wouldn’t change a thing.
 
Swifty is best friends with Stormbolt. They met long before they were in the Wonderbolts together. He, Stormy, and Crosswind all played together as kids and even partook in the same Junior Flight Camp. When Stormbolt left the Wonderbolts, Swiftwing was one of the few who was happy for him and supported his decision to pursue his true passion: meteorology.
