~~context: violas are a super mocked instrument, a load of musicians make jokes about them, and yes, that IS a viola. So I figured why not make a viola joke of my own? Tee hee~~~
I honestly don’t hear much sifference between violas, violins and cellos, they all sound very similar, just some play lower than others. Have you heard Bach’s 6th Brandenburg concerto? It’s for a pair of violas, they’re the solo instruments.
Sometimes you just need a warm spot to lay in before you spurt off.

I mean MIT literally has 3 websites devoted to viola jokes. Some of them are pretty funny, and this is coming from a violist. Violas don’t get the melody often, so that’s why they tend to get overshadowed, but I still love the tone compared to a violin.
Violas are mocked? I think they are more or less overshadowed by the violin, but I still think the viola is cool!
