Shotguns can still fire slugs, but they are slugs so their range is limited as well, usually around 100yards. Varies on the type of slug too, some are more specialized and can reach out up to 200yards.
Maybe because of that, it can hit several targets at the same time.
It’s a double-barrel weapon, designed to spread and many models are used for bird hunting.
And you would be surprised, but a shotgun has a better effective range than most handguns.
I mean, shotguns are not rifles. There’s bullet spread and they wouldn’t be able to anything at long range like this.
Yeah I think your right, not to mention that Celestia is an immortal alicorn and Torch is wearing an armor chest piece.
Either that, or their family gun was originally manufactured in Hollywood (so it could do all of that with only one shot, like in the old western films).
