Day 22, Research Project: Blue Tide [ON HOLD]
 
“I am making a quick note here before I leave for my magic practice in the field. I’ve decided to put the Blue Tide research project on hold after Rubicon entered my room, two days after I invited Splint to my quarters, and found us still copulating in bed. I am not sure I remember much of what happened, but I have rated Splint’s aggressiveness at the bottom of this note.
 
It appears that Vegas’ old master was, in fact, a mistress named Bell Dawndistance. I’ve requested her help in practicing both magical and physical self-defense, and she seems intrigued by my beginning experience in spells. She taught me how to summon these ‘Beholders’, mana-based golems that can project beams of energy from their purple eyes. Thus far, I have deemed it safe to summon two at a time, as I must split my focus between fighting and keeping them under my control.
 
Ah, there she is now. I shall report on my progress in my next note.”

Day 6 and ohhhhh boy, Horizon was not expecting Splint’s response to her last outfit. She’s taken a break from that for now, but she should go back once she deems it safe to continue.
