Happy First Day of Summer, Summer Sun Celebration, and thus, although Equestria Daily said it was yesterday, Happy Princess Celestia Day everypony!!!

As the lovely and caring Princess Luna rules the night, the day is under the grace and wisdom of the ponies’ beloved leader, Princess Celestia herself. Although she is not God, she does have attributes that make you think that she could be. She is all-wise, omnibenevolent (all-good), and all-loving. With an attentive ear and an open heart, these make her, in my opinion, the fairest and most forgiving pony ever. Beautiful as a goddess and with a voice of an angel, heartwarming, calm, and comforting, she is the shining example to all her subjects, living her life in service to all in her kingdom. Her powerful magic has been second to none, but she used it only to maintain peace throughout Equestria (and also to raise the sun). Her mentorship to young ponies gives her the greatest hope for Equestria’s future, and she takes great pride in encouraging ponies to seek out new experiences in the pursuit of self-betterment. Her greatest success was appointing her most famous student and dearest friend, Twilight Sparkle, to study the Magic of Friendship, and, with her guidance, elevated her from ponyhood to the Princess of Friendship. And through her former student’s passion and belief in the strongest magic ever, Celestia is further inspired to seek peaceful resolutions to Equestria’s most troublesome issues and build bridges for other nations throughout the world. Now, I know that Princess Celestia Day was technically yesterday, but I wanted to submit this on the day this occasion represents: the Summer Solstice. So I decided to submit it on that day. It won’t be a part of Equestria Daily’s collection anyway, since the vector of her highness I chose and the background weren’t made by me. The other reason why this had to be submitted today is because I was hampered with my last submissions, and I couldn’t come up with anything; there are just moments where my creative streak appears less often than four leaf clovers and hens teeth. Originally, I thought about including Fluttershy as Celestia from “Horse Play.”

My biggest struggle, however, was the sunburst I made it. I struggled in creating it, adding the flare, how to give it the correct color, and how to arrange it all. Not to mention I wanted to see where I could position Celestia. In fact, I slaved for a whole day getting this set up. And the last minute, I removed Fluttershy since I decided not to have the princess upstaged. If you thought this was a cinch, then I guess I’ll be a less than second rate artist. This was not easy for me. Also for this, there is no text. I decided not to add one.
