Description

Have some magenta horse.
These are familiar sensations. Knowing that something isn’t right, but still FEELING it as if it were. Logic and reason have profound, hard limits when it comes to the human mind and soul. Certain disorders or traumas can make you feel or think things that you can know beyond a shadow of a doubt aren’t true, but part of you still believes them. It feels out of your control. That internal clash, an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object, can make you feel pretty damned miserable.

If a monthly pledge isn’t workable, I have a tip jar at Ko-Fi.
I’m trying to raise the cash to get a new drawing tablet. Specifically a digital display, as opposed to the standard non-display tablet I’m using right now. So any support is greatly appreciated and will go towards that goal.

well… seventeen years is a long time to be making so-much-progress without being able to see it. but it’s not like I’d be any happier if I admitted I’m never gonna get laid. so whatever.

that’s… absolutely true and I hate it.

they tell you to think positively, to be optimistic, to avoid negative, self-destructive thoughts. find the bright side in everything, and never dwell on your own imagined delusions about how terrible things were, or will be. and you do it and do it, and they say you’re making so much progress over the years, but all you ever feel like is a liar.

I am human, hear me err.
I’m familiar with a couple definitions relating to faith.

The definition of faith from the new testament is “the substance (or assurance) of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen.” Then, from the Book of Mormon, having faith is hoping that something you don’t know for sure is true.

If you know something, then your faith is dormant; and you don’t have to believe it. If you’re feeling guilty about something, there’s just something you need to change for the better. And, knowing what that is is the first step in the right direction.
