The memory stone was infected by queen chrysalis’s magic that created wall flowers blush to get the geoes from the rainbooms but not sunset shimmer’s geoe she doesn’t want to read ponies minds to find out who’s telling the truth and who lied she rather punish them all no matter what they say. But foiled by the rainboom’s magic and destroy the memory stone.

Does it never occur to anyone there could be more than 6 orbs escaping from the statue?
(after the ones seen in LoE)?

Keep in mind, the crack is still there as the Wondercolt statue is never rebuilt.

Perhaps, that crack can be sealed without turning off the portal.
 
What am I thinking? Magical events are the reason why Delusional Desires why Delusional Desires come to Canterlot High.
 
I know, no more fan-made stuff, but my point is, without magic, Canterlot High will nothing more than an average normal high school with a mundane life and everything surrounds it.

It will be depressing to close down which means Sunset can’t return home nor Twilight and Starlight can’t travel between dimensions anymore.
 
But these magic are contaminating other people and some nearly led to doomsday scenario. Who knows, that portal will keep spewing magic endlessly.  
Canon or fan fiction, somebody has to clean up all that magic.
