And this is a terrible joke.
It needs something explaining why the world would blow up if she wore the mask, like her having a vendetta or something.
However, if it did make sense with already established stuff from both universes, it wouldn’t need that, like this here.

You’re doing it wrong.
The Mask lets the wearer live out their most repressed fantasies.
If derpy got it the only repercussions would be having only muffins to eat or something. Nothing destructive.
