True, you do have a point. Stoning Peppermint was a bit too much, even though I totally felt their anger. I understand what she went through, but it still makes me mad seeing how she treats Sunny.
 
I do hope she gets some help and opens up to the ones trying to help her.

it’s true that if you aren’t very friendly, and beat up someone right in front of all her friends, they’re very likely to lash out at you. just because disproportionate retribution happens though, that doesn’t make it right. peppermint’s an idiot, but these ponies are really crossing the line. she needs help, not a sword to the face.

Well how was she supposed to know about Pepper’s rough past? She’s not a mind reader and clearly meant it as a compliment. She even offered to help her when she implied to have a problem with her cutie mark. And before that she was trying to be nice to her but Pepper chose to mean. It hurts to see how mean others can towards someone who trying hard to be nothing but nice to people. And I don’t think Sunny is stupid. I see her as a kind pony (that’s just my opinion)

oh shoot, I just noticed. I think this page is missing a speech bubble. pepper was supposed to say something like “I am not a bully,” before shimmering blade accused her of being a liar.

honestly it doesn’t matter if she’s a bitch or not. pepper’s problem is she doesn’t know when to give up. I wish shim would defeat her with indirect tactics and deception, so pepper could learn how valuable it can be to back off at the right time. unfortunately, shim doesn’t seem to know how to fight like a unicorn, so it’s likely this’s going to end with one more horrible victory for peppermint.
 
maybe once the angry mob tramples pepper, the instructors’ll finally figure out that there is something really wrong with her.
 
then again, shim bears the holy blessing of freckles, so who knows how this battle will end?

yeah, I mean think of all the mean things she did to everypony. like not talking to them, and cooking their meals even though she hates cooking, without complaining about it, and occasionally even glaring at them in a very unfriendly way! then she had the gall to get challenged by 13 ponies in a row, and beat them all? that is downright despicable!

The only way Peppermint is going down is if she gets knocked out cold, no way is she yielding with that crowd against her.

Peppermint wasn’t “a bit of a bitch”. She was a complete one. It was completely excessive and unnecessary to attack someone that much after victory and with a clear advantage.
 
And if we’re talking about discipline then Peppermint clearly is just as screwed up considering discipline includes restraint. Not looking for an excuse to exert excessive force on someone you don’t like.
 
Our unicorn is right in that it’s no better to stone her but downplay the part that Peppermint played in getting to this point.
