Boss Monsters are pretty special among monster kind, their souls are much stronger and can take a lot more punishment, their magic is more potent and makes them some of the most dangerous monsters to face, and are effectivly immortal until they decide to have children. Id say it would actually be pretty fitting to draw em as alicorns.
