I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the case!! It’s a pretty legit reason to ship Gallbar, actually. I’ve been tempted to make a collage of all the times Sandbar looks at Gallus lovingly and everything >u> Though I think a lot of Gallbar’s popularity stems from it being a gay ship with two boys who interact and are clearly around or the same age. The already boyxboy shippers in this fandom flourished, and the ones that couldn’t get into the crack ships were overjoyed. (I’m this last part, actually)

maybe him staring at gallus is one of the reasons why gallbar took off as a ship… also the constant half lidded “bedroom eyes” he gives gallus all the time
