A queen does in fact not need a king. For example, colony forming insects don’t usually have kings to go with their queens.

you know I just realized that it would actually be better for chrysalis as a character to accept defeat and just join thorax(I mean a king has to have a queen right?) I mean she was a good villain but her motives went down the toilet from national or planetary conquest to having a beef with ONE pony… she doesnt seem to give a rat’s ass about twilight and her friends, or anypony but starlight… tbh she is WELL past her prime in terms of being a villain and season 9 is the last one so either kill her or reform her dont leave us hanging like this… and plus I just want to see what Hasbro would make chryssi look like in her reformed state
