For the princesses, whose power is as great as their proportions, traditional armour serves no purpose and probably wouldn’t fit them anyway. As such, the capacity to motivate their armies took precedence, resulting in a more grand and revealing ensemble. Regardless of whether or not this was a wise decision, the soldiers certainly don’t seem to be complaining.
