Princess Sunset Shimmer & Princess Starlight Glimmer

Sunset Shimmer and Starlight Glimmer from MLP Friendship Is Magic, redesigned as unipeg princesses.  
Pony bases are g4 princess FAKIES from China. Coated them in white gesso, full body repaints in light orange and lavender. Eyes and cutiemarks hand painted, armor is painted in antique metallic acrylics but I put gold glitter acrylics on Sunlight Shimmer’s and raspberry glitter acrylics on Starlight Glimmer’s.  
Shimmer’s chest crest and crown are detailed from gold sequin sunburst confetti. I cut it into layered pieces for the crown and finished with rhinestones. Chest crest has a painted rhinestone in the center, and finished the look with black drop rhinestones and antique-colored chain.  
Glimmer’s chest crest and crown are embellished in varied purple star rhinestones and strings of beads.
 
Sunset Shimmer’s mane and tail are rooted in yellow mohair and red feathers.  
Starlight Glimmer’s mane and tail are rooted in reused hair I cut off of official Hasbro pony figures and made plugs out of it. Mane is permanently styled/hardened in a hair gel method.
 
All paint work sealed in Artists Varnish.
