I don't even think she had a toy yet when she was introduced until a year later...


 
I remember some fans expected that Princess Skyla filly-alicorn toy was going to be their kid, so there were other missed opportunities for them to "push toys into the series." So in regards to ex-bronies whom bash the show still for "being a toy commercial," honestly the show later on failed at being a toy commercial, and hardly had any toy references after "Rainbow Power." (And even that was hardly in the show.)
