So was Sunset’s Backstage Pass not an adaptation of the Starswirl Do-Over?
 
I’m actually not yet convinced there will be a new special. Holiday Unwrapped, going from the title, could just be the name of the DVD collecting the Spring Break specials (including Backstage Pass). There may have been some kind of miscommunication. Something lost in translation into Polish, perhaps.

Specials are not adaptations and it wouldn’t make sense for them to make a special about the comic,first that book came out 5 years ago,next its before friendship games and legend of everfree and more specials,also it wouldn’t make sense because if this special was actually adapted from the comic then it wouldnve been confirmed long time ago,and also not to mention,if boulder media could’ve been the ones who made this special they would not do it something that already existed,or everyone knows the story or adapt to it because they didn’t produce the comic or be part of it.the rumors sound fake,they have no proof yet that this is what the special is about,we just have to wait a few weeks later or week before the special airs on tv.Also keep in mind it takes place about when season 4-5 was around so it wouldn’t make sense

Rumours that this is being adapted for the final EG special. Please don’t let them be true. A more sadistic kick in the teeth to the fans is hard to imagine.
