I was supposed to post this yesterday but I was super busy, so here it is today!
 
Meet Luminaire, the nonbinary kiddo of Coco and Kerfuffle! They were conceived with magic rather than science, after asking for a favor from Twilight Sparkle. With her alicorn magic, Twilight was able to help them have a child and Kerfuffle carried their little foal to term while Coco continued to work hard and save up bits for their future.
 
Once Luminaire was born, Kerfuffle was wrapped around their baby’s hoof. Kerfuffle didn’t mind staying home with the baby while Coco worked at many Manehattan theaters, knowing she could design clothing and knit from home. They gave their little foal all the love in the world and it was common for them to take Luminaire to work and learn about theatre from a young age. Many of Coco’s colleagues were more than happy to show Lumi how things worked, like lights and sound and directing. This is how they learned about their main passion and talent, theatrical lighting design! Like their parents, Luminaire loves theatre and color theory more than anything and uses her talents to design for many of the theaters their mother works for.
 
Luminaire, like Kerfuffle, is proud of who they are and is un-apologetically themselves. However, Lumi is a bit impatient with certain activities (like knitting) and likes working hard and smart in order to get things done faster. When they’re unable to get through a certain complicated design or feel in a rut when it comes to their work, Luminaire has a bad habit of plucking out their feathers from anxiety. This can also happen when they’re in an uncomfortable situation or are nervous about something that’s about to happen. Even with their feather-picking, Lumi is happy and loves their career.
