This effectively destroys all of Discord's character development that he's gotten ovee the past six seasons. Then again, given what an asshole he is, this is something I'd expect him to do. This just proves that he is and will always be an asshole. Fuck Discord!

Too right. This feels like the writers giivng àll of their loyal fans a massive middle finger. Given that these new shitty writers don't give a flying fuck about the show or the fans, this is hardly surprising.
