That is true. But I still also stand by my stubbornness of that I never wanted Discord redeemed back then and I want Chrysalis to be redeemed instead. So seeing Discord get redeemed made me want to see Chrysalis redeemed way more since I thought it would be a fair trade-off that the fandom got something they didn't want because I got something I didn't want. But I guess it has to be the fandom's job to make this happen in the end.
 
Also if you wanted a Flowey for thise world of MLP:FiM, we've got Sombra, the Storm King, any other villain that the IDW comics push out, and if you want to count Equestria Girls, Principal Cinch is a Flowey as well. I never saw Chrysalis as a true Flowey and the revelations of their teamwork in Frenemies showed that maybe they all aren't complete Floweys. (Despite all this, I still imagined Chrysalis's post-defeat dialogue after the finale mirrors Flowey's.)
 
I do think the message of "not everything can be solved by being nice" is important. But these aren't the villains I wanted to be associated with this.
