well 3 days isn`t exactly a lot of time to get to know your roommate very well, now is it? Especially with rainbow dash constantly reading as she did in the episode. Several months, however, and you start up a conversation eventually. Its only a circumstance that allowed her to meet and get to know bandy. Not the reason.
 
But see it as you wish. Im only trying to do an interesting story about these two that doesnt stop at superficial shipping. For better or for worse.

I am afraid I will have to call BS on that. I know the tumblr and so far the only information we have is that she will never be the same again (said information coming straight from her). So far, nothing has been said against that, so it is canon in this tumblrverse.
 
Plus, it makes her a shallow character! So she wouldn’t spend time with Bendy if her wing wasn’t all messed up? She needs some live altering injury to love him and spend time with him? That’s just a pile of horseshit.

Its not really true that her wings are permanently messed up. Shell most likely be back in the air after a few surgical procedures in a few months flat, and she is just worrying herself sick if the damage could be permanent at the moment, since, you know, flying is her life and everything…
 
It`s just that there needs to be a backstory/explanation as to why her stay is so long, and badly messed up wings seem the obvious choice.
 
and yeah, ill cut out with the depressing feels for a while. Just had to get those questions out of the way…

I’m sorry. I shouldn’t be fussing. This is a lovely bittersweet tumblr but well… there are a few stories that I think some drama and difficulties could be avoided with “You have a Unicorn! Use it!”
 
There could be a reason they explained but I didn’t read it so I apologize in advanced.

This is the point where I started to dislike this tumblr. I mean I love this crackship, it’s cute and kinda crazy/weird. But this?
 
A Rainbow Dash who couldn’t fly anymore would be utterly devastated. This is what she is, her past, her future, her hopes, her everything. She has established her personality and her confidence around the fact that she is the best damn flyier there is AND that she will join the wonderbolts one day. No alternatives, this is what she was meant to be! If that was taken away from her, the result wouldn’t just be some tears, easily wiped away!
 
It would require time, lots of time. A shitload of time. Therapy. And most importantly, her friends.
 
That is the reason this tumblr is dead to me. Love the artwork, love the ship, if only for giggles and daws, but this is grade A bullshit.

Personally, I like to think that with proper care and rehab she’ll be back to her old flying self, eventually. But that’s just me.

Makes me wonder how would all the existing tumblr “end”. The only one I know to end properly (not abandoned) so far is Moonstuck.

On the bright side, they can be suffering buddies! Yay!
