Given that the numbers being quoted by the ‘Alienstock’ people online for estimated attendees were 25,000+ (and someone mentioned how at the original Woodstock they expected 20,000 and 400,000 showed up) I can get why they’re worried.
 
Though the biggest problem if that happens would probably be in saving 25,000 fools who go rushing off into some of the harshest desert in the USA without water or any sort of survival gear.
 
Oh yes, did you hear about the two Dutch who tried strolling down the highway into Area 51 last week with cameras, video gear, etc., got arrested ten miles from the front gate, and are now complaining they’re being persecuted (by being locked up for trespassing) because they’re ‘famous YouTubers’?

I mean of course they’re not happy, they’re ordered to stand around and watch a bunch of dumb kids goof off and make sure nobody actually tries to pull something  
Though it is crazy how close we are to basically be china here if you think about it  
threatening deadly force on American citizens, shows how little control “we the people” really have  
Would kind of invalidate the idea that “we the people” could just march on congress and throw out all those people like I’ve heard a lot of people rant about

I live in Nevada an live a few mere hours away from Area 51 so I’m very familiar with the states vast empty desert. No one seems to know what they are up to. First it was a band or some crap the night before, then they decided to actually raid it the next morning, then people are saying they never planned to raid it. In the end, it’s all stupid. Never wise or smart to say you’re gonna raid an area that’s specifically off limits to the public unless you want bullets flying at you.
 
Also, the Terminator thing was a joke. I was just adding on to the humor you brought up about this being like an 80’s comedy movie.

I thought they were just going to have bands (if any signed up), strippers, and guys peddling booze to the estimated 25,000 attendees.
 
This in the Nevada Basin yet, with no water, no lavatories, no shelter against the sun, no internet connections, and nothing but 13 miles of sunbaked desert and rock to the actual base from the front gate. With all that you’d think the Terminator would be a redundancy.

This whole thing is dangerous and stupid, especially “Naruto running past bullets”. I’ve seen the images on Twitter and the military personel there do not look happy to see everyone show up.

Oh yeah… Today is Sep 20th.
