Maybe in Equestria there's magic conception that any mare can get? That's what I believe when I supported FlutterDash. Though if I was a staff member at DHX I'd ask Ashleigh ball if Rainbow could end up with my male OC.
Soarin made the most sense out of the straight pairings and had Faust remained in control, Dashie would have ended up with him. Or maybe she'd want to adhere to Ms. Ball's wishes and have Rainbow be with Applejack. Like the canon ending. Again there's no stopping anyone from writing their own ending and until we see RD and AJ kiss they could just be roommates. I must say this though. RIP Tank. Ye were a good tortoise.
