This is the sketch. Soon will be in colours. From the moment when Grogar was mentioned that he is the “Father of Monsters” I thought Discord is one of his creations and probably one of the best ones. From my point of view I assimilate the birth of Discord with the birth of goddess Athena. I’ve saw the season 9 finale in dutch with english subtitles and I was quite disappointed about the evolution of Grogar’s character. The beginning of the end part 1 and 2 were brilliant episodes. Before the leaks, I was thinking that Grogar knew that the other villains had the bell when he had the crystal ball where he can see everything. Also, I was expecting that he should have another plan to trick the other villains and led them to their doom. From the begining It was strange to hear that Grogar lived over a millenium and I’m asking how he really survived? When I discovered that Grogar was actually Discord, I was very confused and depressed. Somehow I thought that the final season is more dedicated to Discord than Twilight Sparkle. Discord mentioned in the conversation with the princesess that he did all these things to make Twilight more confident. But I don’t thing he did this just for Twilight or to eliminate the biggest threats of Equestria. I think is something much more darker. At a certain time, I was thinking that Grogar is not really a ram with magical powers but an evil entity that survived thanks to the fact that he had a host and most probably was Discord. The Lord of Chaos wanted to get rid of Grogar’s influence so he made plans for that. He knew that after the enemies were reunited, they will betray him and will take his powers and Grogar’s spirit and put them in the bell. From that moment, Discord was released from the spirit but also was powerless against the villains. The 3 villains were the new hosts for Grogar’s evil ambitions. The evil ram’s power comes from the fear of his enemies. In the conversation between Chrysalis and Twilight, Chrysalis said the fear is stronger than friendship and this made me think that those words didn’t came originaly from her but behind evil force who corrupted her. It’s sad that we never got to see the real Grogar face to face with Twilight and the mane six. This moment could have been a big revelation for everypony and creature from Equestria. In a few days I will post my first videos on youtube and It will be about an alternative ending and a short story about Discord and Grogar. I’ll announce on deviantart when the the video is done.
