You can hate the finale all you want, but badmouthing the people who liked it and disrespecting their opinions is not the right thing to do.

I refuse to even acknowledge season nine’s existence thanks to this finale. It just left me so hurt, so insulted, I just had to make memes pointing out why it bombed! I’m looking forward to seeing your version of the finale.
And everypony is just so quick to forgive him! Even though this is by far the worst thing he has ever done! I mean, he was turned to stone for causing mischievous chaos in his debut, yet this time he does something far worse and the people he summoned get the same punishment he had!
I’m writing a fanfic series set after my version of the finale where the LOD is reformed and Discord is finally trusted and Grogar is defeated. Because Grogar is NOT Discord no matter what the canon states.
And not once did he consider Fluttershy’s say in this?! This finale is a nuclear holocaust of his character growth.
Yeah. Discord should have been more sensible than that. I still (kind of) love him though. I am just hurting him because he hurt me.
I understand. Still, had Discord not interfered, Cozy would’ve seen out her full term in Tartarus.
But the problem is that Cozy Glow is a villain who drained most of the magic from Equestria with the help of Tirek. If it weren’t for the Student Six stopping her, it would have been gone forever. Whereas Diamond Tiara was just a wealthy bully who made fun of blank-flanks and Silver Spoon decided to tag along and join her. Silver wasn’t that bad while Diamond was a female dog. And I find Diamond’s reason for bullying much more understandable than Babs Seed’s. Her bullying was far more brutal but of course not nearly as bad as Cozy. I know Babs was bullied back in Manehattan but that’s no excuse to bully her cousin and her friends. Besides, it is very unlikely that she was raised by her parents the same way Diamond was by her mother Spoiled Rich. Spoiled taught Diamond that it was okay to bully blank-flanks. Babs’s bullies were just bullying her. They might have told her that it’s okay to bully blank-flanks but hey, they’re bullies. I know Spoiled is kind of a bully too but Babs’s bullies aren’t her parents who raised her that way. I know it sounds kinda complicated but I am just sharing.
Still, I can think of better punishments. Community service, taking their magic, banishment…
Well, I guess it’s the closest thing they could do to do to killing them without raising the shows age rating…..
…then again, King Sombra.

How do we know they aren’t experiencing what he could? Even then, it’s kind of a harsh fate for mostly mortal beings like them.

They’re not dead, just encased in stone. Discord was encased in stone and he’s not dead.
It would save the heroes the burden to kill them, yet satisfy the guys who wanted them dead.
