Yeah that’s not suspicious at all for NMM to keep in her room.
we all know that princess luna is the real one. twilight does not.

The earlier bits of the story implied that this is Nightmare Moon’s room.

Nightmare Moon was able to use her magic to help give some ponies some magic that helps them adjust to a more nocturnal lifestyle.
Maybe Twilight just saw them as old propaganda to be kept for historical value.
If it were Twilight’s, I’d expect every book to be read already—probably several times over.
If it were Nightmare Moon’s, and given the displayed proclivities of her, why would she keep potentially dangerous/seditious materials there?
The bed is empty, I’m pretty sure NM left the room, maybe there were some important matters she had to attend to or something.

That was shown way back in earlier parts of this comic series. I believe Silfoe stated that Nightmare Moon offered ponies the change in their eye to better accommodate them, if they so chose.
