AppleDash doesn't have any more (solid) hints than Rarijack does.
And how does that confirms that stereotype? Because Rainbow "fell in love" with no "hints"? Just because a romantic wasn't hinted ( concretely) doesn't mean that she is a stereotype. Rainbow doesn't need to be shown being a lesbian as much as she doesn't need to be shown that she is straight, she gets with who she wants to get with, period.
