Actually, some hated it for fair reasons, like some disliked the Manes deceiving Dashie in a very elaborate way just to "teach her a lesson," which some found a bit mean-spirited, and a bad way to teach a moral about, "don't be egotistical."
I don't hate the episode, but I can kinda understand why some do.
