Well guess I’m not going there anytime soon. Ever.
As a whole I’d recommend you don’t go to 4chan.
I sometimes go there because some of the threads are legitimately funny and lighthearted, but the primary culture there is to be a dick. Don’t expect any intelligent discussion, don’t expect people to play along with antics (sometimes they will, sometimes they don’t), and you certainly need to put some armor on and ignore people who insult you.
The rules there aren’t real rules; they’re just the mods’ personal opinions (“don’t post this because I don’t like it”) and are not designed or enforced to curb bad behavior of the users. A good example is their “no anthro” rule.
There just isn’t any intelligence there, but sometimes you can laugh at their stupidity. /mlp/ has too many popular opinions that I disagree with so I don’t get much keks out of there, but /v/ is pretty funny at times.
Overall, the stupidity outweighs the funny, so don’t stay too long.
It’s a toxic all of the time, which is what the people visit it for. Toxic is a good thing now because good things were called toxic.
I’d stay away if I were you. it’s a toxic hellhole half the time. I’d stick to just looking at screenshots taken by other users.
It depends what’s being deleted and that it’s being explicitely stated, not suddenly seeing a post gone and you get banned for reposting or even asking.
Oh. Right. I never bothered checking out 4Chan because I get very mixed reactions about it from people.
It’s from 4chan, where mods are still banning stuff just to screw with the users. I really wish poni.fun caught on, at least as a haven for threads that can’t exist in 4chan anymore.
