The figure on the ground trembled and a hissing noise escaped it’s slightly ajar mouth. Green smoke rose from it’s lips and something beneath it’s flesh squirmed. Counter Strike stood in front of Eclipse and lowered his horn in defense, ready to protect the princess from anything. A clawed hand burst from it’s flesh, then another, then finally a black horn pierced through the skin of Flurry’s forehead. It cut down the center of Flurry’s underside until the flesh was falling from the creature’s body, leaving the skin of Flurry Heart laying on the ground, shriveled. Counter Strike recoiled at the sight. The monster was pale and furless, sporting a black horn and black translucent wings. It was unnaturally skinny, almost emaciated.
 
“I’m here!” Queen Cadence rushed to Counter Strike’s side and stood over Eclipse in a protective stance. She quickly spotted the skin on the floor, and finally understood why her daughter had been acting so strange for so long.
 
“You killed her.” Cadence said with a grave tone, tears suddenly falling from her eyes.
 
“I ate her.” The monster hissed back, it’s voice gravelly and scratchy. Its smile cut across its head, nearly reaching it’s ears.
 
Cadence stood tall, she did not want this monster to think she was weak, even in the face of tragedy. “For the murder of Princess Flurry Heart, you are sentenced to death. Do you have any last words?” She announced, her voice echoing throughout the hall.
 
“I’m still hungry.” It wheezed, before lunging at the Queen.
