This poor critter is only a year old (which is adulthood for a changeling, though), and already burdened with expectations beyond any other member of the northern hive. Having been born from a royal egg, skipping larval stage, and being the direct daughter of boss and One, she was supposed to be as close to the ultimate changeling as possible. Unfortunately, no brutal physical combat training One could put her through, no amount of magic practice Seven and Two tried to teach her, and not even weapons training with Five proved successful in sparking anything even remotely special. In the end, Thirteen is just a shy, skinny, physically uncoordinated queen-type changeling whom her own mother had given up on. Black depression overtaking her, she agreed to leave the hive with Three to at least take a blow for him if needed. With the entirety of the universe other than the planet Equus destroyed by a mysterious equine called Flow who threatened the northern hive with complete annihilation if they didn’t help his plan, Three and Thirteen won’t be greeted warmly on the surface despite their mission from boss to share ancient dwarven technology which would allow the ponies to avoid starvation now that the sun is gone along with the universe.
 
However, even if almost no one including herself believes in her, Three and the boss know there’s much more to her than meets the eye.
