Bio:
After Fluttershy and Rainbow dash settled into their lives together in the cottages and animal sanctuary, the wonder bolts having disbands and now have themselves full time working at the friendship school and training young fliers and their endless list of jobs as a couple. they became even busier when their son cloudleap was born. Discord had been the one to help make him but in all honesty as much as he loves and adores the colt growing up like a brother Cloudleap took up all the families time and discord got to spend less and less time with fluttershy.
not wanting to bother her and her family trying his best to just give her space and not throw a fit over missing her, he took the oddest choice to fix the situation. he made himself a ‘friend’. a young Draconequus hatching who he named Mania.
Mania was meant to be a friend for discord, and east solution, but quickly he realized it wasn’t going to work out how he wanted. this was a child and a needy one, as any child is it needed someone to help and care for it. so discord became the parental care giver it needed. discord claimed over and over that this was a mistake and he could fix it. but never did.
it became clear discord wanted something to care for, he spent so long being cared for like a child by fluttershy and everyone else he was finally wanting to do the same.
with this child he became fond of their bond as a father and child.
Screwball, discords first permanent like creation of this sorta sees mania as a younger sibling and she often lets the young filly stay at her house. Now that Happy Daze has moved to cantorlot theyve let Mania stay in her old room. both screwball and discord have come to love having someone else to love and care for, both having a form of ‘empty nest syndrome’ of sorts.
