It wasn’t really a pandemic until early this year. I think it was around in 2019 but it was being unnoticed

On average it takes a year just to make ONE episode. Some episodes, like “Magic Duel” take even longer. (Which was written when Season 1 was first airing, and planned for Season 2 originally, but pushed to Season 3.)
A year ago, I never even heard of COVID-19/Corona Virus.

Timing? This wasn’t a coincidence. It was inspired by Covid.
Even if they wanted to do an episode they shouldn’t have done it due to this pandemic going on. It makes light of things.
